Lawyers for the Arts
Many arts groups often find themselves in need of simple legal counsel on a variety of issues (contract reviews, filing for nonprofit status, HR issues, etc.) but lack the resources to retain paid legal counsel. ArtsWave, in conjunction with the Cincinnati Bar Association, has launched this new program as way to connect attorneys willing to volunteer their time and expertise with arts groups in need of assistance. If you are an attorney and a member of the Cincinnati Bar Association, you can complete the application and submit it to Mike Boberg, email@example.com. If you are not a member of the Cincinnati Bar but would like to be, please contact Kathy Grant, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Arts organizations that are interested in participating in Lawyers for the Arts can review this fact sheet about the program. Arts organizations that are interested in applying to Lawyers for the Arts should complete this application and submit it to Mike Boberg, email@example.com.

Unbiased Grant Reading Oversite (U-GRO)
This program was created to help arts organizations draft better overall narratives for the various grant proposals they submit every year. Since most folks have a limited working knowledge of development and grant writing, we offer a short training session on how to review grant narratives and offer objective feedback. This program, like Arts Connection, is one that is opt-in email based. After attending a training, your name is added to the list serve and as requests for feedback come in, you receive a request to volunteer your time.
