Friends for the Arts - opportunities for young professionals

Friends For the Arts

Friends for the Arts is a group for individuals who want to get more involved in our city’s vibrant arts community. We provide members with access to social and networking events and volunteer opportunities.

Our mission (should you choose to accept it): Engage a new generation in the awesome arts communities of the Cincinnati region. We provide folks in our area with meaningful experiences in the arts. This creates a connected, engaged community of younger Cincinnatians that want to stick around and make a difference in the Queen City.

Members Receive:
Bi-monthly emails filling you in on arts events happening locally, as well as exclusive invitations to our sponsored events.

This year Friends for the Arts is hosting a series of fantastic events that team up local companies with our local arts organizations! Stay tuned for a complete list of upcoming events.

Radius: a short filmWe can’t wait for the first Friends for the Arts event of 2012. ArtsWave has arranged for a special invitation for the Friends to see the world-premiere of a game and crowd-sourced film made right here in Cincinnati!

It’s a red-carpet event at Memorial Hall hosted by the film producers -- Possible Worldwide, RippleFX Films, with the Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky Film Commission -- The evening will be a premiere party, followed by the showing of the film. Reception to follow with drinks, food, dancing and mingling – special appearances by some amazing local artists!
